Baja East is a Los Angeles–based resortwear brand founded in 2014 by creative director Scott Studenberg. Known for its surf-to-street vibe and signature “loose-luxe” aesthetic, the label first made waves as a pioneer in genderless dressing and athleisure. Today, Baja East channels that same laid-back spirit with West Coast–inspired prints and effortless resortwear—think matching kaftan sets, satin and crepe day-to-sunset dresses, and plush towel hoodies they call “surfleisure.”

Baja East has earned the 2016 Fashion Los Angeles Emerging Designer Award by The Daily Front Row, and qualified as finalists for the 2016 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund and 2015 LVMH Prize.
